Long Island Guitar Orchestra

A Legato Foundation-created classical music ensemble featuring music composed and arranged for a group made up entirely of classical guitars.

What is it

Our classical guitar ensemble is designed for musicians seeking to share their love of classical guitar in a group setting. Much like any other performing ensemble on Long Island, we have weekly rehearsals leading up to performances.

LIGO is a program developed by the Legato Foundation in collaboration with the Long Island Classical Guitar Society.

When do you meet?

LIGO Rehearsals take place Wednesday evenings from 7:30 PM - 9 PM at:

23 Cedar Shore Drive
Massapequa

Note: A $50 Legato Foundation membership is required in order to participate.
